With an ardent interest in biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, Shiwani also enjoys traveling and has been part of India Hikes working as a green trail intern. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Zoology (Hons) from Hindu College, University of Delhi, and post-graduation in MA Environment and Development from Ambedkar University Delhi. As part of her MA dissertation, she has worked on “Distribution of Carbon and Nitrogen Pools in Tso Kar Basin (Ladakh) and whether they are being influenced by increased tourist activity”.
